Scar and Stretch Mark Cosmetic Tattooing
|
We are beyond excited to now offer Scar and Stretch mark camouflage as a new treatment service in our salon! We will be sending out emails and showing clips on social media in the coming days to show you all just what it involves.
This specialised technique is done with customised blending of skin pigments and cosmetic tattooing techniques to match the colour of your skin with the colour of the scarring to minimise or completely disguise the scars. It often also has the benefit of minimising or shrinking the actual scarring as the techniques used act like skin needling on the skin which as we know is very effective in reducing scarring.
Kym originally started cosmetic tattooing to specialise in Paramedical tattooing due to a strong family history of breast cancer and the need for more Areola tattoo Artists. This eventually led to other tattooing and she, herself becoming a qualified trainer in these and many other tattooing techniques.
Kirsty is trained, experienced and extremely skilled and passionate about the same areas of cosmetic tattooing and just what can be achieved using these amazing techniques! Her attention to detail and her perfectionist attitude makes her natural artist abilities in these areas sing! It’s not a new technique, it is however very specialised in Australia currently.

FAQ’s
What does it cost?
Pricing- Starts from $100 per session.
How do I book in?
In person consultations are required to determine skin suitability and quotations for pricing. Please call 07 33951088 or book a consultation online.
Will I only need one session?
More than one session is usually needed. It depends on the skin, the type of scarring etc.
Is this a permanent solution?
This is a semi-permanent treatment and fading is expected over time, similar to any other cosmetic tattoo treatment. The retention of pigment may be affected by frequent sun exposure, the use of retinols, AHA’s, Glycolic and Lactic acids in the area.
How long will it last?
Scar camouflage can last for years before being refreshed or it can fade out within a year, it honestly depends on the individuals skin and circumstances.
Does it hurt?
It is a very comfortable procedure, most scarring feels quite numb. We do however use topical anaesthetic gel when required. We get you to order this once you make a booking.
